Customer Reviews

I really am impressed with it. Great for the price. Starts really easy. I do have some problems starting it in below freezing temps. (although what engine doesnt start right away then?) I have a camper and run a 1500 watt heater. However… I do have to wake up ever 3 hours to refuel. Unfortunatley Briggs doesnt make a fuel cap where you can tap an external fuel tank into it. – pirljam

After prepping as outlined in the manual tried to start it. Had to go at it for a while. Finally got it cranked and ran for a few minutes then shut off. More trying to start and finally got it going again. This time no issues. Had a bit more noise than the Honda generator I had been thinking about buying. Used it a week later as the power for the lights on our pontoon boat in an X-mas parade. Started easy and ran for two hours. Performed as advertised. Have started it several times since then. Normally starts on the second/third pull. Saved some money and got what I wanted. – C. Treece (Madison, AL)

Love my new generator. The instructions were straight forward and after I added oil, gas and adjusted the choke. It started on the 5th or 6th pull. After that it starts on 2nd pull every time. It makes very little noise unless I really load it up. – Ron (Ore City, TX)
