Customer Reviews

The transfer switch is heavy duty and easy to install. The instructions were simple and you can even see a connection video at the company site. I managed to power up the entire house with the exception of the stove. If I run the electric water heater I obviously have to limit other loads. – Donald Dahl (Port Orchard, WA)

Thanks to this generator we ran the fridge / freezer, lights, 2 deep freezers, 2 televisions, and microwave. I also swapped from one of the deep freezers to our washing machine and ran it, too. While running all of the above, the generator was only using 20% of it’s capability. We ran it for approximately 12 – 14 hours a day and it ran perfectly. One tank of gas lasted all day. I hope this helps. We shut it off at night while we were sleeping, but it probably would have done fine if we had left it on. Keep the oil fresh and it should last. It did for us. – Troy Defew (Benton, KY)

This generator comes almost fully assembled, all I had to do was put on the wheels and add oil, (provided) gas and connect the negative battery terminal. It started with the key on the first try and I don’t think it is loud at all, my neighbors even commented on how quiet it is for a generator (my Echo Backpack leaf blower (74 dB(A) is almost as loud as this generator). I have run this generator at half-load 3,500 running watts using 30 and 20 amp extension cords and have had no problems. I fully expect this generator to handle the brutal New England winters without a problem. – Ex 4wd
