Customer Reviews
I bought this for emergency power outages to run my refrig and freezer part of the time. The propane is great as you don’t have to worry about fresh gas or the carb clogging up from gas sitting in it too long. easy start and simple to use. Also I can use my 20 lb tanks from my grill on it. Tanks hook up just like grill. delivery was very fast and it was placed on the pad for me.” – Farmer11111, Greenup, Ky
I received the updated model with the hour meter in place of the voltage meter. Would have preferred the voltage meter, but that can easily be added with a “plug-in” model. Other differences are:The circuit breakers are now wired properly at the factory. The muffler has a spark arrestor installed from the factory. I purchased the optional wheel kit from ETQ for under $40 shipped. Was easy to install. This generator works well, but the air filter seems to be choking the engine at times when first started. If this happens, simply removing the air cleaner cover will help.” – sgip2000, Hillsboro, OR
We live in DC where folks complain when the power Co trims trees, so limbs fall and we lose power…..alot. It took me a while to get it started. I got it working when I didn’t need it, so I know what to do in an outtage. Living in a city, I worry about the noise, and a neighbor complaining after 11pm. I need to power a fridge and maybe a sump pump, I would like to power a TV and accessories for the kids. This size is great. Remember when choosing size that you will need enough fuel to run what you choose. Propane stores easily and is easy to transport, if power is out for many days.” – Anotherpowerouttage, Washington, DC
